Take Action

Fundraise for clean water.

Birthdays, weddings, races, milestones, classroom projects — if you’ve got an occasion and a network, we can help you turn it into a well.

Turn your occasion into community impact

A lot of the wells we’ve built started with someone who decided to ask their network instead of writing a check themselves. A birthday fundraiser that hit $4,000. A high school class project that funded the community engagement phase of a new village. A wedding where the gift registry pointed to SWP.

Group giving works for SWP for a specific reason: a single well costs $3,500–$6,000, which is reachable by a focused fundraiser in a way that most charitable causes aren’t. You can show your network exactly what their contribution built, and we’ll send you the details when the project is done.

How it works

Our fundraising pages are hosted through DonorBox, which makes setup quick and gives you a real-time tracker, a custom page link to share, and direct integration with how we process donations.

1

Tell us your plan.

Email us with the occasion, your goal, and any timing constraints. We’ll get back to you within a week.

2

We set up your page.

We’ll create a dedicated DonorBox fundraising page in your name, complete with a target amount, photos, and talking points. Common targets: a half-well ($3,000), a full well ($6,000), or a maintenance commitment.

3

You run the campaign.

Share the link with your network. Most successful fundraisers run two to six weeks. We’ll check in but stay out of your way.

4

We report back.

Once the project your fundraiser funded is complete, we send you the same project briefing your donors will receive — costs, photos, village name, status updates over time.
